GFM: Help Me Get an Accessible Van
Amber is yet another disabled person caught in the Social Security Administration’s horrible practice of slow-walking applications (waiting time for first response is now two years in most of the US), denying almost every applicant (over 80%!) and holding up appeals. The whole process is even more protracted now because of the pandemic. In the meantime, she has no income and regular daily expenses.
Amara became unemployed due to the pandemic and cannot take any available jobs at the moment due to her disabilities. She is seeking assistance for her daily living expenses through this year as she attempts to determine her best course of action through this uncertain time. Her needs are for $9,100 and at present she’s raised just over $700.
